The Democratic Committee, which governs the Ward One Democrats, consists of:

  • the officers of the Ward One Democrats;

  • Democratic elected officials from Ward One (ex-officio);

  • Members of the D.C. Democratic State Committee who reside in Ward One (ex-officio); and,

  • Precinct representatives, with each Ward One precinct electing one representative plus an additional representative for every 500 average Democratic votes cast in the last mayoral, congressional delegate, and Ward 1 Council elections.
