Purpose

To resume and complete the unfinished business of the Ward 1 Democrats Convention originally convened on June 14, 2025. Business will resume at the point of interruption and will include:

No new business will be taken up unless permitted by a vote of the assembly, pursuant to Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised (12th ed.), §9:17–18.

Eligibility & Procedure

This meeting is open to all registered Democrats residing in Ward 1 in Washington, D.C. A quorum for a ward-wide meeting consists of twenty-five (25) members in good standing, including at least three (3) officers, as required under Article VI of the Ward One Democrats; By-laws.

This notice is issued by authority of the Chair of the Ward One Democrats, at the direction of the Ward 1 Democratic Committee and in compliance with the By-laws and the adopted parliamentary authority, Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised (12th Edition).

The order of business for the meeting shall be:
