Purpose
The Ward 1 Democratic Committee calls a ward-wide meeting of all Ward One Democrats to:
Approve the Minutes of the July 27 Ward-Wide Meeting
Consider Recommendations of the By-Laws Committee:
Clerical Corrections (or as a google doc)
Special Elections (or as a google doc)
Discuss Ward One Democrats’ Role in the D.C. Primary Election of June 16, 2026
No other business will be taken up, pursuant to Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised (12th ed.), §9:15.
Eligibility & Procedure
This meeting is open to all registered Democrats residing in Ward 1 in Washington, D.C. A quorum for a ward-wide meeting consists of twenty-five (25) members in good standing, including at least three (3) officers, as required under Article VI of the Ward One Democrats By-laws.
This notice is issued by authority of the Chair of the Ward One Democrats, at the direction of the Ward 1 Democratic Committee and in compliance with the By-laws and the adopted parliamentary authority, Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised (12th Edition).
